Statement of Faith
Rockhill Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based church founded on faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for our faith and life.
We believe that salvation comes by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection bring new life to all who believe. We believe in water baptism as an important act of obedience and a public expression of faith in Christ.
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, who guides, empowers, and strengthens believers to live godly lives. We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow together in faith, love one another, and share the Gospel with the world.
Our History
Rockhill Church traces its beginnings back to 2008 during a prayer event known as Altar Praying, where believers gathered at the start of the year to seek God in prayer. What began as a single event ignited a spiritual fire that did not end there.
The small gathering continued to meet in fellowship, forming prayer groups that met in a community space now known as the Kyampisi Police Court. Over time, the fellowship steadily grew as more people joined, drawn by a shared passion for prayer, worship, and God’s Word.
By God’s grace, Rockhill Church has grown into a vibrant and established church with over 200 active members, faithfully serving the Almighty. From a simple prayer gathering to a strong church family, Rockhill Church…
Meet Our Team
Pastor Peter Micheal Sewakiryanga
He guides the church’s spiritual direction and teaches the Bible.
He guides the church's spiritual direction and teaches the Bible. He cares for the congregation like a shepherd, counseling and supporting them. He preaches, leads the team, and helps shape the church's vision.
Pr. Benjamin Tukei
He handles church operations, admin, and logistics. He also supports the senior pastor, manages staff/volunteers, and implements church plans.
Pr. Nsereko Robert
He supports the Pastor by shepherding church members through paying visits, daily checking, and contacting them through calls. He visits community churches and handles all community church programs.
Pr. Kaliisa Richard
He ministers to young people, teaching the Bible and building community. He leads events, camps, and mentors youth. He also bridges church and culture, fostering faith growth.
Mrs. Joeline Sewakiryanga
She leads the kids' ministry, teaching the Bible and creating fun experiences. She trains volunteers, plan lessons, and shepherds kids. She helps kids grow in faith and love for God
Ms. Nakku Mellisa
She handles logistics, paperwork, and support tasks so pastors can focus on ministry. She keeps things organized, communicates with members, and ensures smooth operations.
Mr. Wamala Emmanuel
He guides the congregation in singing, prayer, and praise. He prepares hearts, chooses songs, and leads the team to create an atmosphere for God.
Mrs. Irene Babra Nambooze
She handles logistics, paperwork, and support tasks so pastors can focus on ministry. She keeps things organized, communicates with members, and ensures smooth operations.
